Top Reasons to Stay on Disney Property
There’s truly nothing like staying on Disney property during your visit to Walt Disney World. From the moment you arrive, you’re immersed in the magic – often called the “Disney Bubble.” It’s convenient, seamless, and filled with those extra touches that make your vacation unforgettable.
I. Complimentary Disney Transportation
One of the biggest perks of staying at a Disney Resort hotel is access to complimentary transportation throughout the entire resort. Skip the rental car and forget about parking fees! Whether you’re traveling by bus, boat, monorail, or Skyliner, transportation is included and incredibly convenient.
Even better? You’re dropped off right near the park entrances—no long treks from parking lots at the start (or end!) of your day. If you’re traveling with little ones, the ability to easily head back to your resort for a midday break can be a total game changer. (Even families with teens love this option!) Having quick, reliable transportation at your fingertips saves time, reduces stress, and keeps everyone happier.
II. Advanced Dining Reservation Advantage
Dining reservations open 60 days before your trip for all guests, but Disney Resort guests receive a major advantage. When you stay on property, you can book dining for your entire length of stay (up to 10 days) starting at the 60-day mark.
That means if you’re hoping to snag a hard-to-get reservation later in your trip, you’re booking several days before off-site guests even have access. Popular restaurants fill up quickly, so this head start can make all the difference.
III. Early Access to Multi Pass and Single Pass Reservations
Staying on property also gives you priority access to purchase Disney’s Multi Pass and Single Pass. These passes allow you to reserve a time for some of the most in-demand attractions.
Disney Resort guests can purchase these at 7:00 AM seven days prior to check in. All other guests can purchase these 3 days before their park visit. Securing your ride time early could save you hours in standby lines, giving you more time to enjoy your vacation.
IV. More Affordable Than You Think
If you’re considering staying off property to save money, it’s worth taking a closer look. Disney adjusts pricing based on projected crowd levels, and there are several times throughout the year when resort rates drop significantly. During these lower-demand seasons, staying on property can be surprisingly affordable.
Knowing when to travel and how to take advantage of special offers can make all the difference. And that’s where we come in!
